The Dead Lands
de Toa Fraser
Synopsis
After seeing his family slaughtered, Hongi must cross the Dead Lands, an area supposedly inhabited by evil spirits. There he meets a warrior who’ll become his mentor and with whom he’ll set out to avenge his loved ones. The Maori warrior culture provides the basis for The Dead Lands, the first film to display the technique of Mau Rakau martial arts in all its splendor.
