1925. Korea is occupied by the Japanese. Chon Man-deok, once considered the best tiger hunter in Korea, lives on Mount Jirisan with his daughter. Meanwhile, a Japanese soldier mobilizes a group of troops to hunt down the very last big tiger in the area, returning Chon Man-deok to action at the same time. The Tiger ventures into the epic genre and brings the brilliant Korean star Choi Min-sik face to face with an awe inspiring feline.
