John Cameron Mitchell adapting a graphic novel by Neil Gaiman could only unleash curiosity. This unique filmmaker travels to 1970s England, during the early days of punk, when Enn, a teenage music lover, runs into Zen, a naïve and peculiar creature, who is actually from another planet. The result of the union of two geniuses, the film relates the encounter between two unique universes: those of punk and the cosmic.
