Fifteen years after murdering his sister on Halloween night, Michael Myers escapes from a mental hospital to celebrate the festivity again with the teenagers of the small town of Haddonfield. With minimum elements supported by its director’s mise-en-scène and musical score, Halloween officially inaugurated the slasher movie four decades ago today. An anniversary that Sitges is celebrating by screening this classic, as well as the fabulous reboot created by David Gordon Green.
