In the late 19th century, a brothel in an Andalusian village witnessed a series of terrible murders. With The Frenchman’s Garden, Jacinto Molina aka Paul Naschy departed slightly from Spanish Fantaterror to reconstruct an episode in Spanish crime news. The result was the favorite film from his filmography and one of the least seen, which the Festival presents in its brand new restored copy.
