Synopsis

In a world where the government records and taxes dreams, an auditor visits the home of an old lady who possesses a stockpile of VHS tapes with dreams for which she hasn't paid a single tax. The auditor gets caught up in a cosmic journey through life and the oneiric, unleashing one of the most imaginative and moving films at this year's Festival.

Albert Birney & Kentucker Audley

Birney is a Baltimore-based director, and Audley is a director, programmer and actor. Together they co-directed Sylvio (2017), which The New Yorker hailed as one of the best films of the year. Strawberry Mansion is their latest collaboration.
