NITRAM

de Justin Kurzel

Synopsis

Justin Kurzel isn't afraid to delve deep into the depths of brutality. In Nitram, he does it again. Inspired by the Port Arthur massacre, he tells the story of Nitral, who lives at his parents' home, where he spends his time amidst loneliness and frustration. One day he meets Helen, who lives alone with her animals. Together, they build a life on the fringes of everything else. But when Helen tragically disappears, anger and loneliness take hold of young Nitram all over again. At that point, a long descent into hell begins for him.
