Synopsis

Galicia, 1930s. Despite the rapid changes in the world, superstitions are still alive in remote places of this land, one of which is the belief that witches can, after death, turn into wandering spirits that can harm mortals. Therefore, when the deaf-mute holy fool Coitadino finds the bloodless corpse of a little girl in the forest, the inhabitants of the Galician village do not even doubt that her death served some kind of gloomy rite. But who and for what used such a powerful ritual? The two witches known to the villagers remain silent, and the local landowner Don Rosendo continues to throw strange parties from the point of view of peasants in his mansion, often turning into unbridled orgies.
