Synopsis

Nanon, daughter of a circus ringmaster, is terrified of all men except for Alonzo, an armless performer who has the ability to throw knives with his feet. Everything changes one day when she discovers that he isn't really who he claims to be. Lon Chaney, the most emblematic monster in silent films, co-stars in this unrepeatable hybrid of melodrama and horror alongside Joan Crawford, in one of her first roles.
