Samurai Princess (Samurai Purinsesu: Gedo-Hime)

de Kengo Kaji

Jet power saws, legs like pruning shears, exploding breasts, ultra=violence, humor, sex and blood and guts. Japan embraces the new flesh and brings ero-guro up to date again through gore and cyberpunks. Kenjo Kaji, the screenwriter for Tokyo Gore Police (Sitges’08), gets behind the camera this time to put together a gale of hilarious set-pieces featuring an android (porno actress Aino Kishi) seeking revenge in an imaginary Japan where there’s room for kimonos, katanas, state-of-the-art technology and all sorts of mutants. If your retinas explode, blame it on Yoshihiro Nishimura, artist of mutilation and creator of the wackiest special effects.
