de Paul Solet

The Sitges Festival has always been comfortable with monsters of all sizes and at this edition the small ones abound. The Children and Orphan are a good example of this, but watch out for Grace, Paul Solet’s promising debut that international critics have showered with praise. A natural extension of his award-winning short film, Grace, the movie, tells the story of a mother obsessed with carrying her baby to term. Up to here everything would appear normal, if it wasn’t for the fact that after a fatal accident, the baby should have never been born, or at least no one expected it to be. Pregnant women should refrain because its intensity might cause fainting.
