Youth without youth

de Francis Ford Coppola

Romania, 1938. An old language teacher is struck by lightning and, surprisingly, grows younger after the accident. He decides to restart his great work: the search for the origins of language. His research seduces all the spies of the moment: from Nazis to Americans, all eager to recruit new scientific brains. The professor must begin his escape, continually changing countries and identity and on the way, he meets a girl who looks a lot like the love of his life. Youth Without Youth is Coppola’s return to directing after ten years of inactivity.
