Accident (Yi Ngoi)

de Soi Cheang

Using meticulously detailed strategies, a band of four criminals has managed to make their hits wind up looking like unfortunate accidents. When a series of events causes the  band to break up, Brain, the boss, becomes obsessed with who has set a trap for them. Soi Cheang, maker of the frenetic Dog Bite Dog and Shamo, reduces the level of physical violence this time to delve deeper into psychology with this urban thriller, produced by Johnnie To, that turns the spectator into the privileged voyeur of an intrigue that moves in slow motion among the bustling streets of Hong Kong.
