Nightmares in Red, White and Blue (The Evolution Of The American Horror Film)

de Andrew Monument

Narrated by Lance Henriksen, Nightmares in White, Red and Blue analyzes the evolution of North American horror movies based on the idea that their films are a reflection of the space and time they were created in. So legendary filmmakers like Carpenter, Romero, Dante or Corman and other famous guests (the publisher of Fangoria, Tony Timpone, just to mention one), divulge their experiences with the genre and its subgenres as we recall mythical scenes from more than a hundred movies. An exhaustive documentary that travels the long road between the silent film classics and the torture porn of the new millennium.
