The Hurt Locker

de Kathryn Bigelow

The always restless Kathryn Bigelow delves once again into an eminently masculine universe, that of a unit specialized in bomb disposal, to enter the Iraqi conflict in its trickier context and from an unusual point of view to portray the psychological battles its three leading characters maintain. Creator of high impact images that take suspense to unsuspected heights without overdoing the pyrotechnics, The Hurt Locker is privileged thanks to a casting in a state of grace (watch out for its deluxe cameos too) and to another great story by Mark Boal (In the Valley of Elah).
