de Daniel Monzón

Being in the wrong place at the wrong time can lead us to face a high-risk situation that reveals our limits. It doesn’t take Juan long to discover this when he decides to show up a day early at the prison he works at as a civil servant and a riot breaks out that very day. Making the best of his anonymity, he opts for pretending he’s one of the prisoners. In Sitges we have been closely following Daniel Monzón’s trail since he changed the pen for the camera with his excellent Heart of the Warrior and that’s why we’re so pleased about his return with this (in)tense jail thriller where he shines once again with his excellent actor directing.
