de Hideo Nakata

Hideo Nakata, the man who revolutionized horror with the blockbuster Ring dives into the dark world of Internet. Five teens open a chat room, a refuge from all of their problems. The fragile William wears the mask of leader and under his direction the virtual game begins to have fierce consequences in their real life. Chatroom turns young people’s conversations into something real. Internet takes the shape of a kind of hotel with different rooms. Nakata floods the image with artificial colors and leads us to a terrifying world that causes spectators to have their doubts about this apparently harmless space called Internet.
