Lights Out (Simon Werner a disparu)

de Fabrice Gobert

Synopsis

Following a party, some teenagers find a body hidden in the woods. Two weeks before, Simon, a 16-year-old student, had disappeared from his high school without a trace. A few days later another disappeared. And later another... Rumors lead to psychosis. Structured in several parts that move the story back and forth according to its four main characters' points of view, Fabrice Gobert's first feature film glides freely between different genres, perfectly combining  teenage anxieties with a mystery to be solved. And as an extra reward, a soundtrack by Sonic Youth.
