A sister and brother who have run away from home fall into a trap set in the middle of the woods. He sets out in search of help, and on the way he runs into a group of young men and women that are more worried about playing tennis and flirting than about the fact that there could be a killer on the loose in the surrounding area. The intelligence with which Rabies subverts the keys of genre might make us believe that we are seeing the work of a new American talent, but this ingenious and unpredictable slasher movie comes to our screen from Israel no less. A true breath of (mischievous) fresh air made by and for genre lovers.
