Magic Trip: Ken Kesey's Search for a Kool Place

de Alison Ellwood, Alex Gibney

Synopsis

In the year 1964, writer Ken Kesey (author of “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”) embarked on a trip around the United Stated accompanied by a troupe of bohemians and a large supply of LSD. Their intention was to document their trip in a movie, but the enormous amounts of celluloid they shot wound up buried in time... Until now. Alison Ellwood and Alex Gibney decided to put the more than 100 hours of material into order (all things considered) and manage to reconstruct an extremely valuable document of one of the most effervescent periods in the history of America. The result is one of those trips that you never forget.
