The Raid (Serbuan Maut)

de Gareth Huw Evans

Synopsis

Everyone in Jakarta knows that in the city’s poorest neighborhood there is a building that is a refuge for the most dangerous criminals in Indonesia. Something like a fortress of evil whose legend grows day by day and that even the police are afraid of approaching. Despite all this, an elite special force group tries to bring down its defenses and penetrate its core. But the operation doesn’t go according to plan, and the police wind up trapped inside the building, with no possible way out and surrounded by killers and gangsters. An adrenalin-packed film that reunites director Gareth Evans with action star Iko Uwais after the box office hit Merantau.
