It’s a flesh thing. Meat takes place at a butcher’s shop but, beyond the pieces of beef, are the carnal desires, the latent sexuality. The butcher feels good in this space, among refrigerators, hooks and steaks; there he can give free rein to his fantasies. Along with him, the butcher’s shop girl, who has decided to tape everything with a small camera, records her own life. Starring one of the most famous faces in Dutch theater, Meat arrives with a strong dose of darkness and sensuality. But in Sitges, meat is served bloody; this time it’s good and hot.
