A mixed group of juvenile delinquents and their supervisors head for the remote village of Yotkshire, Mortlake, to spend the weekend doing community services. But Mortlake prides itself on being a closed community that hardly needs anything from the outside world, which is why it won’t be long before friction between locals and outsiders starts to appear. A minor incident will trigger off a spiral of violence that will drag all those involved into a nightmare full of blood and jet black humor. A portion of artisanal gore served up with a masterly Alex Chandon, who directs another feature-length film after a ten-year silence.
