The Unjust (Bu-dang-geo-rae)

Synopsis

A serial killer who’s fond of killing and chopping schoolgirls into pieces terrorizes South Korea. The police put every effort into capturing him, but just when they appear to have found a suspect, he dies in a shoot-out. Lacking proof to be able to charge him, the high-ranking officers desperately decide to look for a scapegoat to pin the blame on. Cheol-Gi accepts the responsibility, hoping that this will get him a promotion in the police force, and initiates an investigation using unorthodox methods where he will team up with gangster Jang Suk-Gu. And this is only the beginning of this complex, action-packed thriller, tinged with corruption and a critical spirit.
