Leonora Carrington y el juego surrealista
Trailer
Synopsis
Leonora Carrington, the last surrealist, passed away in 2011. This documentary tells her story, one of a woman hungry for freedom, who escaped from a strict London to Paris with Max Ernst. It was the first big leap of an eventful, risky and passionate biography that jumps from one continent to another and journeys through historic events and artistic movements. All of this is reflected, under an oneiric cloak, in an artistic work that travels through painting, literature (the powerful text Memories from Below, inspired by her stay at a psychiatric hospital in Santander) or cinema, where she worked as an art director.
