Robot & Frank

de Jake Schreier

In a not very distant future, the integration of robotic presences among humans will enable the emergence of, for example, androids programed to take care of older people. This is precisely the solution that Hunter and Madison find for their elderly father Frank, whose memory losses are becoming more and more frequent. Overcoming his initial aversion to technology, in the robot he will find a caring friend that’s worried about his wellbeing. But, alongside his improvement, in Frank will also appear a desire to return to his old “profession” of jewel thief. Luminous and tender, Robot & Frank incorporates science fiction elements in a deeply humanist story.
