Swedenborg

de Antoni Padrós

Synopsis

William Blake felt a profound admiration for Emanuel Swedenborg, a Swedish philosopher between the 17th and 18th centuries. Based on his dictates Swedenborg was developed, a film shot in black and white and in 16 mm. An experimental story that examines in detail the passions, frustrations, hatreds, dependences and humiliations of the couple. One of the most outstanding works by the director of Shirley Temple Story and Lock-out, where the domestic space takes on a dimension somewhere between suggestive and terrifying.
