The Taste of Money

de Im Sang-soo

Youngjak works as a secretary for a wealthy family. The father only has eyes for the young maid. The mother conspires in the shadows. And the children are there, in tow behind parents who adore power. In this environment marked by money and sex, Youngjak must start to take a position. When the father and the maid begin an affaire, the events hurtle towards the unspeakable, and the secretary has to take sides. The new film from the director of The Housemaid displays refined aesthetics, with a latent violence and an elegance that conceals a corrupt heart.
