So much so that he threatens anyone who treats them badly; but careful, make no mistake about it, we are in Miike territory where good intentions are conspicuous by their absence. Miike continues in the footsteps of Battle Royaleand offers us a high school film that’s violent to the bone; but seasoned with songs by Kurt Weill and with some dark and colorful settings.
