The Fake

de Yeon Sang-ho

The director of The King of Pigs, one of the most important and provocative adult animated films in recent years, is back at it. On this occasion, he focuses on religion. In a town living under the threat of flooding, Choi tries to get his hands on the inhabitants’ compensations thanks to the church. The reverend and a man who has just come back to town will cross his path. A thriller that delves into the amorality of the human being through an anime that’s as excellent as it is dark.
