Synopsis
Kim Keum-hwa is considered to be one of Korea’s great shamans, a practice she’s continued since she was possessed by a spirit when she was 17. Her story covers some of this country’s blackest historic episodes, like the Japanese occupation and the Korean War, and Manshin presents it to us through stock footage, dramatic recreations and flights of fantasy.
