Architect Lucius’ perfectionism costs him his job in Ancient Rome. But one day, while relaxing at a bathhouse, he discovers a crack in time that takes him to modern-day Japan, where he is delighted by technological advances that he’ll try to implement in the ways of his time period. This hilarious fantastic comedy is an adaptation of the brilliant Mari Yamazaki manga.
With a career focusing on television, he debuted in film with the adaptations of the Nodame kantâbire series. He has chalked up big hits with Termae Romaeand its sequel, Termae Romae II (14).
