In 1781, Henry Fuseli painted his painting The Nightmare, where a young woman’s sleep was tormented by an incubus and by a terrifying white horse. These visions seem to inspire Horsehead, where an expert in dreams fall ill with a horrible fever and starts to experiment with lucid dreams that transport her to a sinister, hallucinatory world.
Born in the heart of a fantastic-loving family, it was clear that his career was heading towards cinema. He directed the shorts Projection (06), Bloody Current Exchange (07) and Rémy (08). Horsehead is his debut feature film.
