Le secret de la chambre noir (Daguerrotype)
Trailer
Synopsis
Jean begins work as an assistant to a photographer obsessed with the archaic art of daguerreotypes and tortured by the death of his wife, whose presence can still be felt in the shadows. The first film that Kiyoshi Kurosawa has ever made outside Japan combines romanticism and intrigue, naturally prolonging the filmmaker’s conception of the phantasmagorical.
