It’s nighttime in Seoul, and the central station becomes a home for the homeless. One of them starts to exhibit the strangest symptoms. Meanwhile, a girl breaks up with her boyfriend and seeks shelter at the station, but all she finds there is a horde of vagrants turned into zombies. Her father and boyfriend must find her in the middle of all the chaos. The king of adult animation is back with this social horror film that’s a prelude to Train to Busan.
Seoul, 1978. After directing several shorts, he shot two dark, violent animation feature films, The King of Pigs (11) and The Fake (13), and Train to Busan (16), his first live action movie, all of them screened in Sitges.
