Ruth is seven months pregnant and, like all mothers, feels a total connection to her baby. But in her case we find one peculiarity: the unborn child encourages the woman to kill anyone who stands in her way. We fell in love with Alice Lowe in Sightseers, and her gift for savage comedy also dyes her directing debut black, highly acclaimed in Venice and Toronto.
One of the great present-day British comediennes, she has appeared in films like Hot Fuzz (07) or Sightseers (12), which she also co-wrote. In 2014 she directed the short Solitudo and now debuts in feature length with Prevenge.
