BURNING
Synopsis
Jongsu accidentally bumps into a childhood friend. He falls in love, but then she goes away on a trip and, when she returns, it’s with a new guy under her arm. The love triangle becomes tinged with peculiarities: a young man who claims he burns down barns, a cat we don’t see and a mysterious disappearance. Based on a short story by Murakami, Burning is enigmatic, subtle and poetic, like the reflection of a sunbeam or a dance in the twilight.
