Planet Earth has been destroyed, and its population has to emigrate to its new home, Mars. But just as spaceship Aniara leaves Earth, it suffers a collision and is knocked off its course. Little by little, the passengers will realize that they’ll never be able to return, forced to navigate through outer space. Nobel Prize winner Harry Martinson penned Aniara, an epic story about human existence that now lands on Sitges’ screens.
