Rithy Panh

He was born in Phnom Penh and studied at La Fémis in Paris. With his documentary S21: The Khmer Rouge Killing Machine (2003) he revealed himself as one of the most authoritative voices when it comes to considering the mise en scène of violence, something he continued to explore in The Missing Picture (2013).
