New works from ?The Blair Witch Project? directors
The co-directors of the acclaimed movie The Blair Witch Project, Eduardo Sánchez and Daniel Myrick, presented their new works at the International Film Festival of Catalonia. Although each director screened a film, they did a joint presentation.
Eduardo Sánchez premiered Seventh Moon, a nighttime movie with a frenetic camera that's glued to the main characters' faces, roles played by Amy Smart and Tim Chiou.
The seventh lunar month, when the moon is full, hell's gates open up and the spirits walk among living beings. This belief becomes a nightmare for a couple of lovers who go to China so his parents can meet his girlfriend. At night, the newlyweds get lost in the countryside. Adventure is guaranteed.
Daniel Myrick premieres The Objective, a film about mystical, supernatural subjects in a contemporary warlike setting. A few days after the Twin Towers bombing, a CIA agent is destined to Afghanistan on a mission to find a spiritual leader. This is the objective that Bien Keynes, an expert on the area since the times of the Russian invasion, hands the group of soldiers accompanying him on an expedition where the Taliban will be the least of their problems. Jonas Baile and Matt Anderson star in this film shot in the Moroccan desert.
