The Festival kicks off film submissions for Sitges 2020

La 53rd Sitges - International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia Sitges 2020 starts its countdown. The submission period for both feature films and short films kicked off yesterday, on Monday. Those producers, distributors and directors who want to present their films will be evaluated by the Festival's Program Committee. Sitges 2020 will be held from 8 to 18 October.

The Festival's Program Committee is working normally and responsibly, despite the coronavirus crisis. The Committee is moving forward in the viewings and selection of the first films that will be shaping the Festival’s next edition. The deadline for submission, in all categories, is July 15th.

The companies owning the films selected by the Program Committee will receive an entry form where they will formalize their participation in the competition. The Festival will only contact the owners of the films selected by the Committee. The Festhome platform is the only official system to submit the piece. The organization does not accept any other formats or systems besides this one.

The rules for participation and regulations of Sitges 2020 are available here.
